MarkUp.io Pricing 2026: Plans, Price Changes, and Cheaper Alternatives
MarkUp.io lists two public paid plans: Pro from $79 per month for 50 MarkUps a month ($99 for 75, $129 for 100), with unlimited users and one workspace, and Business from $499 per month for 200 to 600 MarkUps. Yearly billing gives two months free ($990 per year for Pro). Above both sits an Enterprise tier that is quoted on request.
There is no free plan on the pricing page. New accounts start on a 14-day trial that does not ask for a credit card, and you get one trial per registered user.

Did MarkUp.io raise its prices?
Here is the honest answer, because it is not the one most pages on this topic give you. MarkUp.io's own pricing announcement, published in June 2022, introduced the Pro plan at $79 per month. $79 is still the entry price in September 2026. What is new is the meter: Pro now comes in three allowances of 50, 75 or 100 MarkUps a month at $79, $99 or $129, where it used to list unlimited MarkUps. A yearly option ($990 for the 50-MarkUp tier, two months free) and a Business tier from $499 were added as well.
What did change is the free tier. The 2022 announcement described paid plans arriving alongside a free way to keep using MarkUp.io. The pricing page in August 2026 lists only Pro and Enterprise, with a 14-day trial where the free plan used to be. MarkUp.io's own pricing FAQ still describes a restricted free workspace capped at five MarkUps — so something free may still exist behind the sign-up, but it is no longer a plan you can pick.
If you used MarkUp.io casually and for free, that is the change that actually hit you, and it is very likely why "price increase" is the phrase people type into Google. You will also find posts quoting a specific jump from a lower monthly price to $79. What MarkUp.io costs a freelancer per year
MarkUp.io now lists a yearly price with two months free. Here is what the entry tier adds up to either way.
Listed prices as of 15 September 2026. Unlimited users are included on every tier, so this number does not grow with the size of your team, which is exactly why it stings most for a team of one. It does grow with volume: above your allowance, extra MarkUps cost $4 each.
A cheaper MarkUp.io alternative for client feedback
If you landed here because $79 a month is hard to justify for a handful of client projects a year, the real question isn't which plan to pick. It's whether you need a full team review platform at all.
